Fromthe Recovery screen, click on See advanced repair options. Click on Troubleshoot. Click on Advanced Options. Click on Startup Settings. Click on Restart. Innormal boot there's no fan ramp up; it just stays on. Under Fn+ESC, it ramps the fan up, then cycles the screen OFF/ON black indefinitely. By re-naming the original fd file to powering on w/ Fn+ESC, it will cycle screen, wait for something, turn off. The laptop ON light never indicate anything besides a solid blue in either

Pressand hold the FN + ESC keys and press the power on button. when the laptop powers on press and hold the FN + ESC keys for 7 seconds and let it go.
